great concern for the situation created on the City of Messina tonight. The bad weather which occurred in the past few hours, caused landslides and endangered wherever entire families behind torrents, landslides and villages especially in the village of Mili, S. Stefano Briga and damage everywhere in public buildings including Papardo and prosecutors. Intermittent electricity and phone lines skipped. The serious situation due to persistent bad weather which affected the eastern side of the province of Messina, seems to have spared no one. The state becomes a disaster at this point, a necessity. The Councillor for Civil Defence, the Hon. Roman Fortunato, he returned to Palermo in these hours for visits in deprived areas.
