At the General Audience of 16 December, the Mayor of Mauritius Fabro-back, along with Gianluca Scrimieri Don, was received by Pope Benedict XVI.
The meeting was called for a sign of spiritual closeness to Don Domenico Cannizzaro - Parish Fabro - that the December 7 last year celebrated 25 years of priesthood. Gianluca Don gave the Pope a book on the life of Sister Maria Benedetta Frey of Rome, a nun in a convent of Viterbo, who has lived for 52 years immobile in a bed, always witnessing to his faith in God, while Mayor Fabro donated to Pope Benedict XVI a basket containing the finest local produce.

On 14 October at 18.00 was held at the headquarters of Fabro Scalo Congress of the Communist Party of the PRC. The conference document was illustrated by the Provincial Secretary of Terni, Damiano Stufara. Leonardo Da Vinci: Man-genius-inventor 
Inventor 'is a show that features 37 models of military equipment for the flight or air and civil faithfully reproduced from the drawings in Leonardo (Atlantic, Madrid, Trivulziano ...) which will be staged in the beautiful rooms of the castle Carnaiola (Fabro TR).
The machines, manufactured in wood, metal and fabric, size or scale, have been reconstructed by skilled Florentine artisans under the supervision of experienced engineers. What most attracts the audience is the characteristic of "interactivity" of the machines, which means that visitors can touch them and seeing them in manipulating function.
explanations for each model, ten illustrated panels, the copies of Leonardo's codes and a computer (a full enjoyment of the public) take account of 'high scientific and cultural shows.
The faithful reconstruction of the models has been appreciated by Professor Carlo Pedretti, director Center "Armand Hammer" by Leonardo Studies at the University of California at Los Angeles and its European headquarters at the University of Urbino. Professor Pedretti support cultural cooperation in recent years has been invaluable to the international recognition and improvement of models shown.
The exhibition has already visited several cities in Italy and all 'foreign as Melbourne (2006), Dubai (2005), Paris (2007), Strasbourg (2006), Aquila (2008), Detroit and Houston (2008).
The exhibition will be housed in the beautiful rooms of the Castle Carnaiola granted by the family Dal Savio, just for this event. During the initiative you can also visit the "The collection of vintage cars" From the Savio family's association with the Slow Driving in Italy, not far from the castle of Carnaiola.
